Garage Door Video Tips: Can You Control Two or More Doors With One Remote?

One of the most popular questions we get asked about garage door openers is “Can you open two or more doors with one remote?”

The answer is, yes, they most certainly can.

The Liftmaster garage door openers use a three button remote for most of their standard models.  With this remote you can program up to three doors through the “learn system”.  You simply press the “learn button” on the garage door control panel and press one of the buttons on the remote as well.  That particular button on the remote now knows the frequency and the corresponding scramble digital code of the unit.  To program the second and third button you simply repeat the process.
